Default What services should I expect from my host provider?

Hello to all

You should expect ample disk space for your pages. This is usually not a problem. In fact, quite often you are assigned more disk space than you need. But if you know you're going to need to store enormous files, make sure you're getting enough disk space. Also ask for clarification if their allocation of disk space includes just the web files, or if it also includes emails and log files.
Speaking of email, you should expect your hosting company to provide you with the capability to have many e-mail accounts - perhaps numbering in the hundreds. Also find out if they provide mail forwarding and aliases, which are email forwarding addresses to corral multiple emails into one central account. Other communication features should include FTP, or file transfer protocol capability, which allows you to upload files to your server easily.

Have a nice day

Hello friends

A web hosting service is a type of Internet hosting service that allows individuals and organizations to make their own website accessible via the World Wide Web. Web hosts are companies that provide space on a server they own or lease for use by their clients as well as providing Internet connectivity, typically in a data center. Web hosts can also provide data center space and connectivity to the Internet for servers they do not own to be located in their data center, called colocation.
The scope of hosting services varies widely. The most basic is web page and small-scale file hosting, where files can be uploaded via File Transfer Protocol (FTP) or a Web interface. The files are usually delivered to the Web "as is" or with little processing. Many Internet service providers (ISPs) offer this service free to their subscribers. People can also obtain Web page hosting from other, alternative service providers. Personal web site hosting is typically free, advertisement-sponsored, or cheap. Business web site hosting often has a higher expense.

Have a great day

Website hosting begins with purchasing your own URL (uniform resource locator), and to do that you visit an online company offering domains for sale. Current charges are around $17 for two years.Next you have to upload the site to a web-hosting company that will display it on the Internet, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Thousands of such web-hosting companies exist, and there are now web-hosting directories that enable you to select by cost, platform type, facilities, etc. — all of which are explained by on-site notes. You make your choice of hosting company, click through to their site, pay their hosting fee, and can then upload your site to that company's server. The hosting company will provide instructions. It's very simple, but you'll need a cheap or free piece of software called an ftp program. This you can obtain from any software supplier, and use it to maintain your site thereafter. Once uploaded, your site goes 'live'. You're on the Internet.

Have a nice day
